What is CDP?
CDP is an international non-profit organisation based in the United Kingdom, Japan, India, China, Germany and the USA that helps companies and cities disclose their environmental impact. It aims to make environmental reporting and risk management a business norm, driving disclosure, insight, and action towards a sustainable economy. In 2022, over 18,700 organizations disclosed their environmental information through CDP.
What are the main benefits of having a CDP Climate Change rating?
The aim of the fund is to support any costs that directly affect a household’s ability to afford or access energy, food and water. The support will cover both immediate and long-lasting savings for the household. This includes, but is not limited to, insulation of hot water tanks, fitting draft excluders to a door, replacing inefficient light bulbs or providing white goods.

The CDP framework allows OT Group to demonstrate their commitment and intentions to continuously improve environmental reporting and risk management.
How has CDP helped OT Group to improve its performance?
OT Group is dedicated to ensuring high standards of environmental reporting and disclosure. CDP allows us to measure how good we are and the areas in which we may be able to improve. It is good to have people looking in from the outside who deal with many leading organisations analysing what and how we do things. Like EcoVadis, CDP allows us to benchmark ourselves against other leading organisations, many of which are our customers.
How Does CDP Reporting Framework Work?
The basic disclosure process involves a disclosure request and disclosure submission through CDP, resulting in data available for future reports. CDP assigns scores to companies like OT Group to illustrate their progress and motivate them to take the lead in environmental action.
Reporting organizations must attain a minimum score and/or meet a minimum number of criteria at one level before CDP will score the next section. For example, if an organization fails to meet the minimum for the disclosure level, then it will not get a score for any of the other levels.
